 What is Oeko-tex ? The testing for harmful substances is based on a scientifically founded criteria catalogue with more than 100 individual parameters. Textiles can only be certified if all components meet the specified requirements. It includes: * Illegal substances such as carcinogenic azo dyes * Legally regulated substances such as formaldehyde, plasticizers, heavy metals or pentachlorophenol * Substances which according to current knowledge are harmful to health, but which are not yet regulated or prohibited by law such as pesticides, allergenic dyes or tin-organic compounds |
